If you're cruising through Rotorua and craving a caffeine fix, look no further than Revolver Espresso. Tucked away at 1131 Amohau Street, this cozy café isn’t just another spot for your average cup of coffee; it’s an experience brimming with charm and delightful surprises.

What sets Revolver Espresso apart is not just its exceptional coffee—often touted as the best in Rotorua—but also its commitment to quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. The moment you step inside, you are greeted by the friendly faces of the staff, who elevate the ambiance with their warmth and attentiveness. Christina Forrest, a satisfied customer, raved about the friendly service and delectable offerings, especially the ciabatta that she enjoyed along with a mouth-watering lemon tart and blueberry almond tart. It's a testament to the café's dedication to fresh and delicious ingredients.

The menu features a delightful mix of options, perfect for a light lunch or a leisurely brunch. Savor the rich aromas of freshly brewed coffee paired with artisanal baked goods. Reviews from patrons like Glenis Boulanger highlight not just the quality of the coffee but also the inviting seating arrangements, including a large communal table adorned with an interesting collection of cookbooks and magazines—ideal for those seeking culinary inspiration as they sip their way through a perfect cup of java.

Indoril “Outlander” Nerevar describes Revolver as having a rustic European vibe, making it a unique niche in Rotorua’s café scene. This isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s a place to wind down, chat, and revel in good company. While it doesn’t aim to be a bustling working café, it shines as a haven for relaxation amidst the delightful chaos of VETRO, the European import grocery store it shares space with. This unique setup invites you to linger a little longer, perhaps indulging in some food shopping after enjoying your favorite brew.

Notably, customer Daphne Vakacegu praised the café's impressive turnaround under new ownership, highlighting the consistently high-quality food that is both beautifully presented and astonishingly tasty. Every dish feels like it is crafted with care, making you anticipate each bite.

For anyone visiting Rotorua, Revolver Espresso is a must-experience spot that delivers not just on taste but also on atmosphere, making it an essential stop whether you're a local or a traveler. So, whether you're grabbing a quick coffee-to-go or settling in for a sweet treat, make sure to add this gem to your itinerary—you won't be disappointed!

Nice selection of food. We had a ciabatta from the display case. Very good. Also had a lemon tart and a blueberry almond tart. Yummy. Also, coffee was delicious best in Rotorua. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Worth a visit.

I loved this place! Good coffee, nice selection of food. There are several tables that seat 4-6 and a large table to share. The big table is covered with interesting cookbooks and mags. I may just pop in for coffee and culinary inspiration again soon.

Visited Revolver Café for lunch today, wonderful surprise, new owners, Claudia, one of the staff gave us a really warm and welcome greeting. The food was of high quality and delicious once again (thank goodness because the standard had really dropped prior to new owners), freshly prepared, nicely presented on our plates for both me and my friend. There was only one roll in the display stand(hot ciabatti with roast beef, pickles etc.) which they did not serve to us, they made 2 fresh ones, we really appreciated this high standard of service. The cappucino was excellent. The cakes and slices looked devine - we will be back to try another day! We were very satisfied and look forward to going there more often now. Thank you staff for the great experience!

A very rustic European atmosphere, one of the best coffee spots in Rotorua. Good quality food is available however seating is limited and one should be aware that this isn't a working coffee shop, rather a place to chat and relax. It is located in the same building as a European import grocery store so you can do some shopping too. A must try if you're visiting Rotorua. Edit: "Working coffee" means a place where you can go to do work (study, online work and reading) and have a coffee.

A café inside the delicatessen VETRO in Rotorua. The service was jovial, the coffee was pleasant and the atmosphere was made better by all the yummy foods surrounding you.

Our favourite spot for food in Seminyak hands down. Atmosphere, food and service spot on. Two wait staff (both named Ari) were particularly great. Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible coffee shop. The best coffee in Rotorua. Good selection of muffins, rolls and sweet treats. Located inside the Mediterranean store.
